Thursday began our 12 Days Before Christmas. The day was dress as your favorite Whoville character and was followed by our PTSA movie night, The Grinch.
Our students had an amazing time touring the University of Maryland, College Park! From exploring campus landmarks to learning about the wide range of academic programs, it was a great opportunity to envision their future college experience. We hope this inspires them as they continue planning for the next chapter of their education! 🎓✨ #CollegeBound #FutureTerps

Community schools play an important role in supporting local neighborhoods. They focus not only on students' academic success but also on the well-being of students and their families.
On November 23, 2024, JMB staff, student volunteers, and Mountaire worked together to provide over 100 Thanksgiving food boxes to local families, helping them enjoy a meaningful holiday. This effort highlights how community schools create a culture of care and support.
Our students had an incredible field trip to the National Guard Armory, where they explored potential career opportunities in the military. It was a great opportunity for them to learn about different roles and decide if this path is the right fit for their future. Thank you to the National Guard for the hands-on experience! 💪🎖️
November was filled with exciting career exploration opportunities for our students in honor of National Career Development Month!
