Clipper Families,
At JMB, learning is required, and being present is essential to success. Please remember that students should be in class and ready to learn by 7:45 a.m.
Students with five or more unexcused absences are required to make up those days in order to earn their grades back. Without make-up time, grades will appear as E’s on the report card. The end of the term is October 30th, so it’s important that all students stay on track.
Our afterschool program will begin the week of October 20th, offering extra academic support and enrichment opportunities.
Please also note a few other important dates:
October 17 – No school
October 22 – We will be administering the PSAT to all 10th graders and any 9th or 11th grade students who signed up and paid to take the PSAT. All other 9th, 11th and 12th grade students remain home that day and will complete asynchronous work at home through their Google Classrooms.
October 31 – No school - Professional Development for teachers
At this time, JMB offers over 30 clubs and activities. Please encourage your student to get involved—there truly is something for everyone!
Together, let’s finish the term strong and continue charting excellence the Clipper way.
